Mechanic Assistant, Tire and Lube Tech

ASSIST WITH:
Preventative maintenance/DVIRs
Perform minor component repair and preventative maintenance on the newest
Vehicle component lubrication and replacement
Perform basic diagnostics
Brakes, tires, hoses
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year practical experience with vehicle maintenance required
Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.
A valid driver's license is required
PREFERRED:
CDL or willingness to acquire CDL
Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, mone, plant)
Regularly lift and /or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs (with help).
